For us, bare root season is not only the busiest period of the year, but also the longest one: we start digging plants in late April and we finish posting and delivering rose orders in late August, sometimes even early September. It's an exciting period - as we always say - because we see the results of our hard work, but it's also extremely challenging and tiring.
This year, our plants needed to stay in the ground a bit longer, and that's why we have started posting our orders later than usual. We could have pulled out plants earlier and delivered them in early winter, to be more competitive with all big chain stores who have bare root plants on the shelves even in May, but that's not how we work.
Our aim is to supply strong and healthy plants to you, and we'll keep working in this way, despite the difficult seasons we can have, the challenges with staff shortage and the mild summers that we cannot predict and slow down our growing season.
Our bare root plants are now ready and we are very busy boxing and posting them all over Australia.
We still have some extra plants in stock, so we are having our Winter Sale earlier than usual and offering all bare root roses at reduced prices.
It's not too late to order more roses, and now that they are on Sale it's even the perfect time to do it.
