A new Chapter for Delbard Roses in Australia

End of summer has been very busy and exciting for us, and not only because we are finalising our budding season and looking after our rose plants growing in the field - important changes are also happening in the rose industry in Australia, and the next few months will be interesting for all rose lovers.

There is great news that we cannot wait to share though, which made our small business very proud of the hard work and the long road walked so far...

Delbard Roses - certainly one of our favourite rose breeders - asked us to be their new agency in Australia and our collaboration is starting now.

This will allow us to control the new varieties coming into our country, to be the very first ones to grow them and to choose the new roses to release each year.

It's a new important chapter for our business, and we are very excited about it.

Delbard will join the other two breeders we are agents for: Bruce Brundrett and Rose Barni, the new Italian Roses introduced this year to the Australian market.

This is the perfect time to jump on our website and choose your new bare root roses among the hundreds of varieties still in stock.

If you cannot wait till winter or you need a special gift, our potted roses are available too, with shipment organised just a few days after you place your order.

What's that Tag on David Austin roses?

If you recently purchased a David Austin rose, you certainly noticed that little white and green tag at the base of your plant.

That tag is probably more important than the classic label with the picture of the variety that you always receive with your rose; it's called a license tag and it proves that you are purchasing a genuine David Austin variety, produced by a rose grower authorised by the English breeder.

David Austin licensed growers - like us - are especially selected for their very high quality plants and for their dedication to English roses.

That little tag ensures quality and full traceability of every rose sold, and it should be on each David Austin plant.

The best Delbard Roses

What do we love about Delbard Roses? They are strong and vigorous, reliable, beautiful and different.

We love the popular striped roses, the beautiful Painters Collection, the Grand Parfums Collection, the climbers, the Bordure Collection... And we cannot wait to introduce in Australia the many new varieties that have just arrived from France - a couple of years in the quarantine bed and they'll be all yours.

In the meantime, have a look at our Delbard Collection and order your new Delbard roses today, before they sell out.

Rose Barni

Roses Made in Italy

After talking about English and French roses, we cannot avoid mentioning our new Italian Roses, from the Tuscan breeder Barni, that we are introducing to Australia for the very first time this year.

Our exclusive collaboration with Rose BarniĀ® has started this year and is one of our new exciting projects for 2023. We are releasing the first five varieties now, and more will be added in the years to come.
