Introducing Lady of Australia - one of our beautiful 2022 releases, chosen to celebrate the wives of Governors General of Australia
November was very unusual this year; still quite cold and wet, it didn't look Spring at all.
We've been busy with the maintenance of the 2 year old plants and the rootstock in field, and the completion of our 2022 Catalogue. Next month we'll introduce our 2022 new releases, but we want to give you a sneaky peek now of a very special rose (see below).
It's time to plan your garden and place your order for new bare root roses. The sooner you send us your selection, the better; most popular varieties normally sell out very quickly and you don't want to miss out.
Potted roses are always available and can be a great gift for Christmas - just make sure you place your order by 5th December if you want them to be delivered before the 24th. Check out all the other suggestions and surprises we have for you, for your Christmas presents... or for any occasion presents.
One last thing to mention - We'll have 2 Open Sundays this month, to give everybody the opportunity to visit our rose farm and purchase potted roses or other gift before Christmas holidays.

Lady of Australia is one of our beautiful 2022 new releases, and we are proud to say that it was chosen to celebrate the wives of Governors General of Australia and officially launched in Canberra last 11th November.
Bred by Bruce Brundrett, it's one of our best Australian Roses and it won several important awards at the National Rose Trial Garden in 2018: Gold Medal as the best rose overall, Trophy for Best Rose of the Trial, Best Floribunda Rose, Most Pest and Disease Tolerant Rose of the Trial, and the Australian Bred Rose of the Year.
Lady of Australia is also a Charity Rose, with $2 from each sale donated to Australian War Widows Inc, providing support and advocacy for all war widows from all conflicts.
Lady of Australia is a beautiful floribunda that produces clusters of classically-shaped, bright yellow flowers, showing ruffled petals when fully opened, and fading to lighter yellow/cream on the reverse. The plant is healthy and highly disease resistant, very free flowering and fragrant, with dark green foliage on a well-shaped bush 1.2m tall and 1m wide.

- Potted Rose - we have a big range of potted roses available, to be ordered online - just note that they need to be ordered by 5th December to have them delivered by Christmas.

- Rose Candle - this is our new product for this year, that we've just received from our local artisan: beautiful handmade soy wax candles with two different rose scents.

Datelines for deliveries before Christmas If you want to order a potted rose to be delivered before Christmas, you'll need to place your order by Sunday 5th December. Any potted rose order received after the 5th December, will be posted after the 3rd January.
